A home in West Hollywood is being painted white and black after a resident reported that it was being plagued with dust, a Los Angeles County public health official said.
Los Angeles County Public Health spokesman Joe Samuels told ABC News that the Department of Public Health is investigating the matter.
Samuels said the homeowner, who asked that his name not be used, told public health officials he discovered the dust was coming from the kitchen of his home.
Samueels said there was also dust from the floor, the walls and ceilings and the outside.
He said it appears that residents were using their own air conditioners to keep the dust at bay.
The county has been working on a plan to fix the dust problem, Samules said.
